Finally, click on add action again,<b><i> Close Excel \u2192 Enable Save changes = No <\/i><\/b>(If you are not modifying the Excel) <\/p>\n\n<h5>Step 7: Add &#8216;For Each (Loops)&#8217; Action<\/h5>\n\n<p>Click on For Each and the Value to iterate would be <span style=\"color:blue;\">%ExcelData%<\/span>, and store it into <span style=\"color:blue;\"> CurrentRow. <\/span><\/p>\n\n<h5>Step 8: Add &#8216;Launch Word&#8217; Action<\/h5>\n\n<p>Inside the loop, search for the Launch Word action in the action pane and add the <b><i>Open Word Document<\/i><\/b> or <b><i>Open the following document <\/i><\/b>action \u2192 Select your <b><i>Word template <\/i><\/b>and choose <b><i>\u201cOpen as Read-Only\u201d<\/i><\/b> if you don\u2019t plan to save changes. If you do, make sure this option is unchecked. <\/p>\n\n<h5>Step 9: Populate Placeholders <\/h5>\n\n<p>Add &#8216;Launch Word&#8217; Action, and if your Word template contains bookmarks: <\/p>\n\n<p>You must use <b><i>Set Word Bookmark Content<\/i><\/b> for each placeholder. For example, if the bookmark name is<span style=\"color:blue;\"> CustomerName<\/span>, then the value should be specified using dynamic text or a variable like <span style=\"color:blue;\">%CustomerName%<\/span>. <\/p>\n\n<p>If using <b><i>placeholder text<\/i><\/b> instead (e.g., <<CustomerName>>):<\/p>\n\n<p>You must use <b><i>\u201cReplace Text in Word Document\u201d<\/i><\/b> and set the Word Instance: <span style=\"color:blue;\">%WordInstance%<\/span>, <b><i>Text to find <\/i><\/b>and replace it with <span style=\"color:blue;\"> %CurrentRow[0]%<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p>This assumes that the first column is the name and matches whole words only. <\/p>\n\n<p>Tip: If multiple placeholders exist, use multiple Find and Replace or Bookmark actions, one per field.<\/p>\n\n<h5>Step 10: Save the New Document<\/h5>\n\n<p>Once you add the <b><i>Save Word Document As <\/i><\/b>action, you have to fill in<span style=\"color:blue;\"> %WordInstance% <\/span>in the Word Instance option.
